Heather Rae El Moussa Says Life Without Husband Tarek ‘Would Be Unimaginable’ on Their 2nd Anniversary

The "Selling Sunset" star shared a tribute to her "sweet love" on Instagram

Heather Rae El Moussa is reminiscing with her husband of two years, Tarek El Moussa.

On Monday, the Selling Sunset star, 36, shared a tribute to her "sweet love" on Instagram in honor of their anniversary.

"Happy wedding anniversary my sweet love ❤️ I can’t believe it’s been 2 years of marriage & going on 5 years together," Heather wrote. "When I made that commitment, I knew in my heart that I was making the choice to live the rest of my life with my best friend. We have that love that makes you want to be better for one another."

"You have stayed true to the vows that you said to me two years ago: you have loved me for all that I am, you have protected my heart and put our family first- always- and you have shown me that I picked the right man," she continued. "You are an incredible dad to our baby Tristan and Tay & Bray and nothing makes me happier than the family and life that we have built together."

"I said it on our wedding day and I’ll say it forever: Life without you would be unimaginable," she concluded alongside photos from their special day, which took place in Santa Barbara on October 21, 2021.

The real estate star shared a series of images from their wedding alongside her romantic caption. One showed her standing underneath a floral arch with her groom, she also included images from their first dance and another image of the pair posing on the dance floor.

Heather had also shared a video highlights reel from their picture-perfect nuptials on Sunday.

"My lover ❤️. Going into our wedding anniversary with the fullest, happiest heart. Will be reminiscing and reliving moments from our wedding all weekend long 🥹👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻," she captioned the Instagram post.

The clip showed the pair getting dressed on their wedding day, exchanging vows and kissing, with the montage set to Taylor Swift's 2019 hit "Lover."

A follow-up post the same day shared audio of their vows, with Tarek expressing, "I was a man who lost hope and all that changed when I met you. You taught me how to love myself again," he said. "You truly, completely complete me and make me a better man."

In her vows, Heather told her partner, "I can't believe I manifested the perfect man for me. You're my other half. You are truly the best human I've ever met in my whole life."

The reality TV stars started dating in July 2019, before getting engaged in July 2020. Tarek popped the question on a trip to Catalina Island off the Southern California coast as they celebrated one year of dating.

Around the time of their wedding, Heather — who welcomed baby Tristan with Tarek, 42, in January — told PEOPLE:

"We're best friends, we're true soulmates, and our love is so rare and so special. It's the love I've always dreamed of my whole life."

Tarek's two older children — Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8 — whom he shares with his ex-wife and former Flip or Flop co-star Christina Hall were also in attendance as the pair tied the knot.
