Heather Locklear Arrested for Domestic Violence, Battery on a Police Officer

Heather Locklear was arrested on Sunday night in Thousand Oaks, California for domestic violence and battery on a police officer, according to multiple media reports.

According to TMZ, officers responded to a domestic violence call in Thousand Oaks, and Locklear reportedly became combative during the arrest and attacked an officer. Others details weren’t immediately available.

Locklear was charged with one count of domestic violence, a felony, and three counts of battery of emergency personnel, which are misdemeanors.

The actress was booked into the Ventura County jail but is no longer in custody. TMZ reported that Locklear is in the process of posting bail. According to ABC News, Locklear is scheduled to appear in court on March 13.

According to the audio recording of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, Locklear’s brother called the police after arriving at her home and finding Locklear and her boyfriend in an argument.

A representative for Locklear has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment. A spokesperson for the Thousand Oaks police department has not yet responded either.

Locklear was arrested in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence, and she and her ex-boyfriend Jack Wagner were ordered to appear in court after a reportedly violent fight in 2011.
