Heart's Ann Wilson announced she will embark on a 20-date North American tour this spring.
The trek begins March 8th at the Moore Theatre in Seattle and includes stops in Los Angeles, Denver, New Orleans and Philadelphia before wrapping April 7th at the Park Theatre PAC in Providence, Rhode Island. More tour dates are expected to be announced soon.
Wilson said fans can expect: "A beautiful, classy set with an elegant, artistic production … The music will be a mix of songs that have powered my life; iconic soul stirring covers, songs from my years of solo work and the unforgettable songs of Heart." Wilson's backing band will feature guitarist Craig Bartock, bassist Andy Stoller and drummer Denny Fongheiser. All three have played with Heart and/or Wilson's side-project, the Ann Wilson Thing.
While Wilson tours, her sister-bandmate Nancy Wilson is releasing new music with former Prince collaborator, Liv Warfield. The duo's first single, "Hold On To My Hand" will come out later this month with more to follow.
Heart spent the bulk of 2016 touring in support of their recent album, Beautiful Broken.
