Hear It First: Jeff Beck Previews Live Track, ‘Going Down’
The legendary Jeff Beck has a new Live album, Live+, coming out May 19, just in time to hit during the last part of his current U.S. tour. Live+ was recorded last summer while on tour with ZZ Top, and the 14 performances were recorded at multiple venues in 2014.
Beck, backed by his quintet band, explored his vast catalog stretching across five decades: Performances of “Morning Dew,“ “Superstition,” “Big Block,” are included; as well as two Grammy-winning tracks: his cover of the Beatles’ “A Day In The Life,” and “Hammerhead.“
