‘Hazbin Hotel’: Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Alex Brightman & Keith David Lead Voice Cast Of Prime Video’s Adult Animated Series – NYCC

Prime Video on Saturday unveiled the main cast for its upcoming adult animation series Hazbin Hotel. Season One series regulars include Erika Henningsen as Charlie, Stephanie Beatriz as Vaggie, Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious, Keith David as Husk, Kimiko Glenn as Niffty, Blake Roman as Angel Dust, and Amir Talai as Alastor. with Christian Borle and Joel Perez also joining the cast as notable demons of Hell Vox and Valentino, respectively.

The announcement was made at NYCC where Hazbin Hotel creator and executive producer Vivienne Medrano debuted a portion of an original song, “Happy Day in Hell” (You can watch it below)

Prime Video last month announced a two-season order for Hazbin Hotel, from A24 and Bento Box Entertainment, which originated as an animated pilot released on YouTube in 2019 that quickly gained over 89 million views and a rabid worldwide fan base. Some of the actors on the series’ voice cast have been on fan dream cast lists circulated online.

The eight-episode Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel is set to premiere January 2024. As announced at NYCC today, fans will be able to get digital access to the first two episodes at HazbinHotel.com before they release on Prime Video,. Early access episodes will also be available to stream for a limited time on the A24 App.

Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be “checking out” into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult-film star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the “Radio Demon” reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality.

Here are details on the main cast’s characters:

Henningsen’s Charlie is the estranged daughter of Lucifer who wants to do right by her kingdom and find a way to redeem Sinners into Heaven through rehabilitation in the Hazbin Hotel.

Beatriz’s Vaggie is skilled in combat and very protective of her girlfriend Charlie; she is tough but she has a heart of gold.

Brightman’s Sir Pentious is a Victorian-era demon striving to be modern and cool who has a passion for building steampunk machines of destruction.

David’s Husk is a grumpy gambler and magician who has been summoned to work as the bartender of Hazbin Hotel through a deal made with Alastor.

Glenn’s Niffty has been summoned to work in the Hotel along with Husk. Niffty isn’t afraid to get dirty, and enjoys cleaning everyone’s messes all with a gleeful, but also kind of creepy, charm.

Roman’s Angel Dust is a famous porn star and the first Sinner Hazbin Hotel is attempting to redeem.

Talai’s Alastor, also known as the Radio Demon, is the wickedly charismatic host of the Hazbin Hotel.

Medrano serves as executive producer and directed all episodes. Joel Kuwahara and Dana Tafoya-Cameron, and Scott Greenberg (Season One) also serve as executive producers. Hazbin Hotel is produced by A24 and Fox Entertainment’s animation studio Bento Box Entertainment.
