May is the season for college and high school graduations, and several celebrities were among those marking big milestones in their children's lives this month.

Renovation reality stars Chip and Joanna Gaines celebrated their son's high school graduation in late May. Joanna Gaines shared a sentimental video on Instagram featuring sweet photos of their son Drake through the years.

"It feels like just yesterday that we were cheering him on as he took his first steps," Gaines said of Drake in the caption. But now, the reality mogul added that she and her husband were "cheering him on as he took his first steps into a world beyond what he's known," adding the hashtag "16," the number of her son's jersey, as a finishing touch.

Sean Astin is the "#ProudestFatherEver" at daughter Ali's graduation

"The Lord of the Rings" and "The Goonies" star Sean Astin was over the moon that his daughter Ali graduated from Harvard in May. In a sweet message on Twitter, the actor told his followers that Ali had "won the Deans Prize for Outstanding Thesis in the Humanities," attaching a copy of the thesis to the tweet and adding the hashtag "ProudestFatherEver."

Kevin Hart is "so proud of my little girl"

Comedian Kevin Hart marked his daughter Heaven's graduation from high school with an exclamation-full post on Instagram. "It’s not about me….It has always been about them!!!!!!! I am so proud of my little girl," he wrote. "We have to motivate each other and continue to make ourselves better….Dream big damn it!!!!! Heav you made me so proud yesterday," the star added.

Kimora Lee Simmons praises Harvard graduate daughter Aoki

Model and mom of five Kimora Lee Simmons gushed about her daughter Aoki, who also graduated from Harvard in late May. "My baby girl is a HARVARD GRADUATE!!! AND with a double major! AND one of the youngest in recent history to do so at only 20 years young!" Lee Simmons wrote on Instagram.

"This is CRAZYY! IM SO SO SOO PROUD! AND all the while carrying a full time job modeling!" she added. The model also shared several sweet photos of her daughter with her diploma.

LeBron James cheers on basketball player son Bronny

Basketball icon LeBron James celebrated his son Bronny's graduation from high school with an all-camps message on Instagram. "PROUD!!!! 🥺🥺🥺🙏🏾. CONGRATULATIONS & LOVE YOU KID!" the star athlete shared. The post featured a number of sweet shots of the 18-year-old's graduation from Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles, California, alongside a family photo with James, his wife Savannah, and their two other children Bryce and Zhuri at the end.

Bronny is set to attend the University of Southern California, where he committed to play basketball.
