It’s only April, but Kendra Wilkinson has declared that 2018 isn’t her year.

Just weeks after she filed for divorce from Hank Baskett, the Kendra on Top star, 32, shared on social media on Monday that her dog, Martini, has died. The beloved pooch, who was 16, was her companion long before the retired football player, with whom she shares two kids, even entered the picture.

Kendra wrote on Instagram that the Jack Russell had “seen n been through it all,” starting in her San Diego days. Around that time, the reality star had depression and addiction issues and spent time institutionalized after suicide attempts. The cocktail-named canine then got a taste of fame when Kendra moved into the Playboy Mansion after catching Hugh Hefner’s eye. Martini has been with her ever since, including when she moved to Philly during her young romance with Baskett, who played for the Eagles. She has said that the pooch was especially good with her kids.

In 2016, Kendra said goodbye to her Corgi Raskal, noting that it was a traumatic experience. (She was known to dress up both dogs, especially around the holidays. See them as Santa Claws and Mrs. Claws.)

This year’s drama has topped that, though, as she also ended her marriage to Baskett. It was a union filled with high highs and low lows. After much speculation, she filed for divorce on April 6. However, the pair — who are parents to daughter Alijah, 3, and son Hank IV, 8 — have been more than cordial. They reportedly still live together under one roof as they uncouple. However, while she’s found her footing again — hanging out with girlfriends — she’s also been shamed for partying.

All of this drama has been almost too much for Wilkinson. After posting the news about Martini’s passing, she posted an Instagram Story in which she is staring at the camera while resting her head in her hand. “I hate 2018,” she wrote. May things get better for the reality star from here.
