‘Harvey Birdman, Attorney General’ Lands At Adult Swim With New Special

Fans of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law will be happy to know that the winged superhero is making his big return to Adult Swim with Harvey Birdman, Attorney General. The series is set to debut this fall.

The new half-hour animated special will feature the original voice cast with Gary Cole voicing the titular hero and Stephen Colbert voicing megalomaniac billionaire President Phil Ken Sebben. The new special features Birdman as the country’s next Attorney General — as announced by President Kebben. In his new role, it’s up to Birdman to find a way to remove the President from office before everyone starts to worry it’s more than the ridiculous plot to an animated show.

In addition to Cole and Colbert, the voice cast includes John Michael Higgins as Mentok the Mindtaker, Paget Brewster as for Birdgirl, Chris Edgerly asPeter Potamus, Peter MacNicol as X the Eliminator, and Phil LaMarr as Black Vulcan.

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law aired on Adult Swim for from 2000 – 2007 for four seasons and gained a following. Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law continues the show’s cult legacy.

Harvey Birdman co-creators Erik Richter Michael Ouweleen will serve as executive producers along with Richard Ferguson-Hull and Evan Adler.
