Harvest Fair at State Fair Park

The 30th annual Harvest Fair brings the autumn to Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis this weekend, with music, food, a farmers market, rides (including the giant slide), pumpkin bowling and more. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 29, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 30 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 1; fairgoers younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 5 p.m. each day. 'Northern European Paintings' at Milwaukee Art Museum

"Art, Life, Legacy: Northern European Paintings in the Collection of Isabel and Alfred Bader," a major exhibition of more than 75 Dutch and Flemish masterpieces, opens Sept. 29 for a four-month run at the Milwaukee Art Museum. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sundays (till 8 p.m. on Thursdays). Museum admission is $22; $17 for students, seniors 65 and older and military members; free for kids 12 and younger. Info: mam.org.

MKE Studio Tour

Twenty-two artist studios with work by nearly 60 artists are part of this year's MKE Studio Tour, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The free, self-guided tour hosted by Wisconsin Craft stretches from River Hills to Bay View to Wauwatosa, with artwork ranging from jewelry and fiber to photography. Info: wisconsincraft.org.

Cream City Convergence at the Baird Center

Cream City Convergence, a new esports tournament run by Bucks Gaming, hits "play" at the Baird Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., on Sept. 30. It's billed as the first regional esports competition organized by an NBA franchise. Player registration is completed, but you can watch the play for $25. Ex Fabula All-Ages StorySlam

Ex Fabula is hosting an all-ages StorySlam at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Interchange Theater Co-Op, 628 N. 10th St. The family-friendly story-sharing theme: "Best Day Ever." Tickets at the door are $15, $8 for kids 12 and younger. Info: exfabula.org.
