Harry Styles is bringing an upbeat message to the start of 2021 with his video for "Treat People With Kindness," released Friday. And it stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The official video, filmed in black-and-white with an old Hollywood vibe, features Styles performing in a nightclub. "Fleabag" actress and creator Waller-Bridge enters the club and sits down at a table. Styles beckons her to the stage. Once together, the pair dances a number together while dressed in matching sequined, argyle vests and tuxedo pants.
"Treat People With Kindness" is from Styles' 2019 album "Fine Lines." USA TODAY's Patrick Ryan called the album "confident and refreshing" and wrote that the album's arrival late last year reconfirmed the One Direction star's "status as a bona fide rock star."
The song's lyrics are welcome after a tough year: "Maybe we can / Find a place to feel good / And we can treat people with kindness."

Styles made news in November by becoming the first man to cover American Vogue solo with December's issue, and stylishly, in a ball gown.
The British heartthrob credited his "flamboyant" idols Prince, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury and Elton John with giving him the confidence to buck the status quo and push boundaries.
"Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with. What’s really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away," Styles said in his cover story.
The freedom to play and experiment also influences his music.
"I think with the second album ("Fine Line"), I let go of the fear of getting it wrong and…it was really joyous and really free," he told the magazine. "I think with music it’s so important to evolve—and that extends to clothes and videos and all that stuff."
