The actors behind the iconic Weasley Twins will be around to stir up trouble on Food Network’s new “Harry Potter”-themed competition, “Wizards of Baking.”

Variety has learned exclusively that James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley throughout Warner Bros.’ eight-film “Harry Potter” franchise, will be hosting “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking.”

“Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking” will follow “innovative pastry chefs” as they “craft spellbinding sweet creations” inspired by the films starring Daniel Radcliffe in the titular role.

Per the competition’s description, “Viewers will see beloved locations, including inside The Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Platform 9¾, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, The Burrow as well as props, costumes, and clips from the blockbuster films. ‘Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking’ will delight viewers as it blends the magic of Harry Potter with the very real talent of exceptional pastry chefs.”

Additional details about the series, including what other judges, guest stars and potential “Harry Potter” alums will be appearing, will come at a later date.

Production on “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking” is set to begin in the U.K. shortly.

The competition has been picked up just as Max is developing a new “Harry Potter” TV show, which is described as a more complete and detailed adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s seven-book series. That show was first ordered by the streamer in April 2023.
