Harry Potter star Brendan Gleeson has totally transformed for a new TV role as he takes on the guise of US President Donald Trump for Showtime drama The Comey Rule.
Gleeson, who played Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody in the Potter films, is unrecognisable as he dons Trump's famous blond hairstyle in the first teaser trailer for the show and declares: "I know some people in the Bureau have it in for me. But I'm the president now."
The miniseries is based on former Director of the FBI James Comey's 2018 autobiographical book A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, which contains details of Comey's career in public office and his relationship with Trump, who fired him in May 2017.

The Comey Rule follows Comey, played by Jeff Daniels, as he serves under the new commander-in-chief following the 2016 presidential election and deals with the turbulent aftermath, as well as providing an insight into the personality clash between the two men.
The trailer features Comey questioning why "there are four guys with ties with Russia on one campaign" before Trump declares to him that "nobody gets treated as unfairly as I do – I need loyalty".

The Comey Rule, which was also informed by more than a year of additional interviews with key real-life figures, is described by Showtime as "the story of two powerful figures, Comey and Trump, whose strikingly different personalities, ethics and loyalties put them on a collision course".
The two-part drama also stars Holly Hunter, Michael Kelly, Jennifer Ehle, Scoot McNairy, Oona Chaplin and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Joe Lo Truglio.
The Comey Rule will premiere on September 27 on Showtime in the US, with a UK release date not yet confirmed.
