‘Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience’ Set for Fall Debut in the U.K.

Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Thinkwell have revealed a new Harry Potter experience.

“Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” will debut this fall in the woodland at Arley Hall and Gardens, Cheshire, U.K. The studio describes it as a “breathtaking experience that will take Harry Potter fans of all ages down a light trail inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest, featuring creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series.”

Visitors can make their way through the woodland, and follow the illuminated one-way path, where they will discover moments from the Forbidden Forest, and encounter mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns and Nifflers. The attraction is designed to be COVID-safe and will adhere to the latest U.K. government safety guidelines.

The experience, which is based on creatures conceived of by author J.K. Rowling, will also feature concessions at a seasonally themed village and an on-site shop will stock Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise.

Ticket prices start at £19 ($26).

Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment in partnership with theatrical designers and experiential creators Thinkwell and their partners Unify and entertainment discovery platform Fever created the outdoor experience.
