ASHWAUBENON - Godsmack, with special guest I Prevail, will inject a dose of hard rock in the Resch Center’s fall concert calendar with a show at 7 p.m. Sept. 26.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. Prices are $39.50, $59.50, $79.50, $99.50 and $125. There is a six-ticket limit.

Upcoming concerts announced to date for the Resch Center have been country acts: Jordan Davis on Sept. 9; Luke Bryan on Oct. 13; and Hardy on Nov. 30. The latter two are sold out.

Godsmack last played the Resch Center in September 2019 with Halestorm for what was the band’s first show at the arena in 15 years.

Godsmack — with Sully Erna on vocals and guitar, Tony Rombola on guitar, Robbie Merrill on bass and Shannon Larkin on drums — has said its latest album, “Lighting Up the Sky,” which came out in February, will be its last studio album.

Godsmack is rolling back into the Resch Center on Sept. 26 for its first return visit since 2019.

Erna told Revolver magazine in May it doesn’t mean the end of the Grammy-nominated band that has been pounding out hits for the past 28 years, including a dozen No. 1's.

“We’re not announcing the death of the band,” Erna said. “We’re not announcing a farewell tour. We just don’t think there’s gonna be another full body of work after this. I mean, I could end up doing a collaboration with another artist or a soundtrack. There may be other things. It just feels like it’s the right time to start enjoying the sunset years and really focusing on, like, a greatest-hits show.”

The band just headlined Saturday at Rock Fest in Cadott and will return to Wisconsin on Aug. 13 for a co-headlining date with Staind at American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee.
