Happy Endings: Casey Wilson reveals the origins of Penny's nickname for her vagina
Yeah, readers, Casey Wilson is talking about the origins of Penny’s amah-zing “whore’s bath” rant.
During the latest episode of PeopleTV’s Couch Surfing, the actress discussed her time on the cult classic Happy Endings and the origins of her character’s nickname for her vagina.
“My girlfriend from home always called her — if I may — vagina a hush,” shared Wilson. “And I was like, ‘What’s that now?’ It’s not something you hear everyday. And she would just say it so openly and freely that my husband [Happy creator David Caspe] was like, ‘I think we need to get that into something.'”
A real happy ending would be Wilson and her costars reuniting for more Happy Endings, a scenario that Damon Wayans Jr. previously told EW that they were all down for.
“We always talk about how much fun we had doing the show and I stay in contact with all these dudes, so we talk regularly,” he said. “Of course I would jump at the opportunity to have, like, a one-off or do a random Netflix movie — that would be really cool to do. I just got to talk to [creator] David Caspe and see what he wants to do because he’s the king of that thing. I know for a fact that everybody who starred in that show would be down to do either a one-off or a movie. I know I would.”
