Here’s What Happened When Heather Dubrow Tried the Viral Fruit Roll-Up & Ice Cream Trend

Heather Dubrow tried something new during her last outing to Craig’s L.A. — and TikTok made her do it. In an Instagram post from April 5, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member shared a video of herself trying the viral combo of a Fruit Roll-Up and ice cream that’s taking social media by storm. And we weren’t expecting her reaction.

But first, here’s a bit of background on the trend. According to Today, in February, a TikToker named Golnar Ghavami introduced her “guilty pleasure” snack. The unusual delicacy features ice cream rolled inside a Fruit Roll-Up. After Ghavami shared her idea, the trend took off. The original video has had some 10 million views. And apparently, Heather was one of the people who watched it.

In the video from Craig’s, the RHOC cast member announced that she was using the restaurant’s famous Tinx sundae, which is vegan, in her version of the challenge. Then the action began. As Heather rolled the dairy-free ice cream into her Fruit Roll-Up, she pointed out that she was going to “roll it like sushi.”

Heather really went the extra mile to try this challenge: She also confessed that she’d had a Fruit Roll-Up delivered to her at the restaurant via Instacart.

Her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, didn’t seem so sure about the snack: “Big, big mistake,” he said, watching Heather create the trending morsel. Then, after he tried it, Terry said, “Ew. Hell no.” But Heather had a different opinion. “It’s so good!” she raved. Check out the whole scene in the video below:

Meanwhile, Heather is not the only Bravolebrity who’s tried the famous sundae at Craig’s. In a March 10 Instagram post, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles real estate pro Josh Altman shared a video that showed himself at the restaurant with his wife, Heather Altman, and their two kids, Ace and Lexi.

The gang was dining out to celebrate Josh’s birthday, and they ordered the “Tinx Hot-Girl Sundae.” The treat comes in a giant martini glass with rainbow sprinkles around its rim. The sundae contains eight scoops of vegan ice cream and tons of delicious toppings. Cookies, brownies, hot fudge, whipped cream, and sprinkles cover the mounds of ice cream. In Josh’s video, there was also a huge golden sparkler on top.

In case you’re curious, the sundae costs $46. But if you’re planning to order a few Fruit Roll-Ups on the side, a la Heather Dubrow, set aside some extra cash for your Instacart bill.
