Hannity blasts Seth Meyers's coverage of recent shooting: 'You have zero credibility, zero integrity'

The friction between Seth Meyers and Sean Hannity came to a head on Fox News Thursday night, as the conservative pundit called out the Late Night funnyman for mocking him and claiming those opposed to gun control legislation are sociopaths.

"Seth, why do you have so much hatred and disdain for Americans who just have different political beliefs than your Hollywood liberal beliefs?" asked Hannity.

In response to recent mass shootings which left 18 people dead, Meyers questioned the rationale of second amendment advocates. But according to Hannity he is far from qualified for such discussions.

"You are just another limousine liberal socialist, hypocritical a**hole, who does nothing but spew anti-G.O.P. hate and has virtually nothing positive or productive to add to any political dialogue," said Hannity. "You have zero credibility, zero integrity, zero interest of what the truth is - and especially about complicated issues. That is why very few people watch your show. And you are not funny. Ever."

SETH MEYERS: So we're once again being confronted with yet another deadly plague that has haunted this country for decades-- the plague of gun violence. And in both cases, there's been a small minority of sociopaths with outsized power in our politics who stand in the way whenever the rest of us try to do something about it.

- Rather than offering solutions to gun violence, Hannity has used recent shootings to further push the false narrative about gun bans. And rather than addressing Meyers' concerns about gun violence, Hannity just attacked the comedian.
