The "Ted Lasso" star says her 8-year-old knew exactly who she wanted mummy to sing with in "Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas."

Forget Legos, Barbie dolls, or Squishmallows — all Hannah Waddingham's daughter wanted for Christmas was a visit from Tony-winning Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr.

On Monday's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Waddingham explained that when she was planning her recent Apple TV+ holiday special, Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, she decided to let her 8-year-old daughter curate some of the music.

"I wanted to give her the opportunity to choose one of the guests for my special," the Ted Lasso star said. "Literally, before I finished my sentence, she went, 'LESLIE ODOM JR., MUMMY!'"

Clearly, the girl has taste. Waddingham was a little worried she wouldn't be able to deliver on her daughter's Christmas wish, so she tried to temper expectations. "I was just like, 'I don't think we'll be able to get him because he's probably busy doing a show,'" she recalled. Indeed, Odom is quite busy — he's currently on Broadway in Purlie Victorious — but the three-time Emmy nominee made time to join Waddingham for a soulful performance of Charles Brown's 1960 classic "Please Come Home for Christmas."

In addition to Odom, Home for Christmas features guest appearances from many of Waddingham's Ted Lasso co-stars, including Jason Sudeikis, Nick Mohammed, Phil Dunster, James Lance, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Kola Bokinni, and Billy Harris.

Waddingham is now celebrating her third Emmy nomination for her role as Lasso's Rebecca Welton. "I cannot be cool about it at all," the actress told Meyers. "Am I allowed to swear? It's f---ing epic!"

Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas is streaming now on Apple TV+.
