A former Bachelor contestant is lifting the veil on the show's rules for contestants while traveling.

In a TikTok video, Hannah Godwin, who appeared on Colton Underwood’s season 23 of the ABC show, responded to a fan, who posted a TikTok asking “what the flights really look like on The Bachelor.”

Godwin, who married Bachelor in Paradise co-star Dylan Barbour in August, shared some juicy insights into what the cast’s air travel looks like, including where the Bachelor sits on the plane in relation to the contestants.

“When we were overseas, [the women] would all get on first because we had seats in the back in random spots and stuff," she explained. "And then the Bachelor and the host – at the time it was Chris Harrison – would get on last and they would get to sit in the front" in order to limit off-camera interactions between him and the contestants.

The mystery around the leading man's presence would always spark intrigue and excitement among the contestants, Godwin said.

“We were always like ‘Is our Bachelor here in the front?’ Like we wouldn’t know if he was in there, but I think he’d wear like a hoodie,” she added.

In the comments section, Godwin replied to a fan, who asked, “The lead would be on your same flight?!🤯.” She clarified how it typically worked, answering, “At least most of them overseas.”

She also revealed what type of airlines they would normally fly. One fan commented, “I must know were they good airlines or like spirit.” While Godwin didn’t reveal specific companies, she shared her answer. “I think good ones, they must have so many points for good airlines lol,” the reality star responded.

Godwin also revealed in the comments that the contestants weren’t allowed to bring a book or their phones during travel.

For context, one of her season’s destinations was Singapore, which she said was about an 18-hour flight. To pass the time, Godwin said she watched comfort movies and tried talking to her friends who were across the aisle.

“I remember they wanted us to keep talking about the show and what’s going on and all the drama pretty minimal on the planes – like we weren’t really supposed to talk about it,” she said. “Because if we weren’t mic’d, they obviously wanted to capture whatever you were saying or thinking on camera.”

To close out the TikTok video, the newlywed made the disclaimer that it “might be different these days, but that was my experience.”

Season 28 of the reality hit features Joey Graziadei as the leading man. His run on the show has seen the cast travel everywhere from Canada to Spain.

Joey explained to Maria that he felt it would be “dishonest” to move forward with her because of “the amount of doubts that I have.”

Maria didn’t say much to Joey before getting in the car to leave.

“It makes me sad because it’s like, Joey was everything that I’ve always wanted and it doesn’t come often where I feel this way,” she told the cameras. “But I should have told him how I felt a lot sooner than I did and that’s my biggest regret.”

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
