Hannah Brown's 'Steamy' Debut Novel 'Mistakes We Never Made' Is Out Today at 30% Off

In addition to being one of The Bachelorette‘s most celebrated leads, Hannah Brown has added quite a few titles in the years since her season. In 2022, she released her first book, a memoir titled God Bless This Mess, that became a New York Times bestseller. And, today, on May 7, she officially became a novelist by releasing her debut novel, Mistakes We Never Made.

Talking to Brown in March, the reality star talked about the process of writing the book, and how thrilled she is to have her fans read it. “It was kind of that creative outlet that I needed to have and to be able to just dream up what and how these characters were going to respond, react, what type of crazy adventures they were going to go on, and then being able to weave my own life into it that was really fun,” Brown said, adding that the book has some “Easter eggs” from her own life.
“I had an amazing team that helped really make this book what it is and something that I’m super proud and pumped for people to dive into the story and be in this crazy fast-paced adventure that’s also like steamy and sexy and romantic,” Brown continued.

The novel follows Emma Townsend and “romantic red flag” Finn Hughes as they reunite at a friend’s wedding after almost hooking up a few times. Everything seems going fine, however, until the bride goes missing and the two embark on an adventure to find her.
“Two days before the wedding, Emma and Finn are hitting the road in a sweet vintage sports car in hopes of salvaging someone else’s happily-ever-after,” the description reads.
The blurb continues, “Yet somewhere between Emma’s breakfast burrito throw down, a high-stakes kayak chase (it can happen), and an outrageous Vegas detour, these sworn enemies are crossing more than just state lines.
