The acclaimed adaptation, which grabbed five Emmys for its freshman run, will return in the month of April with a season “shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead,” says the press release. “‘Gilead is within you’ is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season 2, Offred and all our characters will fight against – or succumb to – this dark truth.”

Hulu also set decidedly firmer dates for Season 3 of The Path (returning Wednesday, Jan. 17); the limited series The Looming Tower (based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book and premiering Wednesday, Feb. 28); and Season 1 of Hard Sun (releasing all six episodes on Wednesday, March 7, it stars Agyness Deyn and Jim Sturgess as two cops on different ends of the social and moral spectrum who must “learn to work together if they’re going to survive until the end of the world”).
