Halloween is right around the corner, and we've rounded up some of the best ways to celebrate the spooky season for Oct. 20 through 26. Event details are subject to change, so we encourage you to check with presenting organizations about the status of their events.Happy haunting!

Foggy Bluff Dead & Breakfast at Green Gables

Historic Green Gables, 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, transforms into “Foggy Bluff,” where ghost walks around the grounds will be offered starting at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays continuing through Oct. 29. There will also be kid-friendly events on Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 for children. Adult Flashlight Pumpkin Hunt in Melbourne

Ages 18 and older are invited to bring a flashlight and a bag or basket to enjoy the fun at the Crane Community Center, 1440 Mosswood Drive, Melbourne, on Friday, Oct. 20 from 8 to 10 p.m. The cost is $10. Call 321-608-7400 or visit melbourneflorida.org.

'Rocky Horror Picture Show' in Cocoa Beach

The Rich Weirdoes, a “Rocky Horror” shadow cast from Orlando, will perform at Surfside Playhouse, 301 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach, at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20,  and 6 and 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21. The show contains mature content, and no one under 18 will be admitted. Costumes are encouraged. General admission, which includes a prop bag, is $25. Residential Halloween light show on Merritt Island

The Dixon family has decked out their house at 2492 Glenridge Circle, Merritt Island with a free light show programmed to themed music including “Skeleton Sam” from the “Hocus Pocus 2” soundtrack from dusk to 10 p.m. nightly through Halloween. Space Coast Symphony Orchestra revels in the Halloween season with a concert at the Scott Center at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, 5625 Holy Trinity Drive, Melbourne, on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The program of fiendish Broadway favorites includes hits from “Sweeney Todd,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Young Frankenstein,” “Wicked” and more. Venture, if you dare, to the second annual Halloween show at The Tangiers, 4500 Dixie Highway, Unit 1A, Palm Bay, on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. There will be a show hosted by Alfie Silva, and a party featuring activities, dancing  and entertainment. Cocoa Village Playhouse, 300 Brevard Ave., will show the 1925 silent film “The Phantom of the Opera” on Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. In the film, a mad, disfigured composer (Lon Chaney) seeks love with a lovely young opera singer (Mary Philbin.) Spooktacular Paws in Cocoa Village

During the Cocoa Village Art & Craft Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 21-22, Tails at the Barkery, 14 Oleander Street, will host a “Spooktacular Paws” fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For a $10 donation, have your special furry companion “create” their very own one-of-a-kind designer piece of art. Proceeds will benefit Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue. All pets must be on a leash, or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags for the safety of our animals and friends. Halloween Golf Cart Parade in Satellite Beach

Golf cart owners will decorate their carts for a Halloween parade on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. The parade starts at DeLaura Middle School, 300 Jackson Ave., Satellite Beach, and ends at the Satellite Beach Sports & Recreation Park, 750 Jamaica Blvd. There will be a decorating contest, food trucks, music, prizes and more. Spooky Saturday at the Palm Bay Aquatic Center

The movie “Casper” (PG) will be shown at the Palm Bay Aquatic Center, 420 Community College Parkway SE, Palm Bay, on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6:45 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. for open swimming, games, crafts and other spooky surprises. The diving well will close at sunset when the movie starts. There is a limited capacity inside the aquatic center, so once capacity is reached, patrons are invited to bring blankets and chairs to watch the movie from outside the fence. Admission is free. Space Coast Halloween Fest on Merritt Island

This fun, indoor trick-or-treating event will be at Merritt Square Mall, 777 E. Merritt Island Causeway, on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Family-friendly local businesses will hand out candy and showcase their offerings. Enjoy free balloon animals, face painting, crafts, a reptile petting zoo and more. Admission is free. RSVP at eventbrite.com.

Spooky Harvest Tea on Merritt Island

Field Manor, 750 Field Manor Drive, Merritt Island, will host a Spooky Harvest Tea on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will be in the outdoor pavilion, rain or shine. Beverages will include fall-flavored hot tea drinks, warm apple cider, witch’s brew and pumpkin spice sangria. A butler will serve the guests and entertain with tales of ghost stories and urban legends. The event is best for those aged 15+ due to scary content.
