Halle Berry Wishes 'Fine Ass' Boyfriend Van Hunt a Happy 54th Birthday: 'Don’t Count Your Candles, Baby'

The Oscar-winning actress is celebrating her Grammy-winning boyfriend's special day

Halle Berry is celebrating her boyfriend Van Hunt's birthday!

On Friday, the Oscar winner, 57, marked her boyfriend's 54th birthday with a sweet Instagram post that included cute pictures of the couple together.

“Don’t count your candles baby, just enjoy the beautiful glow! Happy Birthday with ya fine ass💥,” she wrote alongside a series of photos of Hunt posing with the actress.

“HA! 😂 i❤u,” Hunt replied to Berry in the comments.

One photo shows the pair posing together on a sunny balcony, holding each other’s hands. Another image features the two enjoying a vacation night together.

Along with the sweet photos of the pair, Berry also included two solo shots of Hunt looking away from the camera.

In August, the musician penned a sweet Instagram post dedicated to Berry on her 57th birthday.

"this is the woman i love," he captioned a series of images of Berry wearing different skincare masks and costume makeup. "behind the mask she makes me laugh til i hurt. i see her behind the mask. i always have."

The couple first met and bonded virtually during quarantine in 2020. That September, the actress confirmed their relationship and posted a photo sporting his tour merchandise. Since then, Berry has shared how the musician is the "love of [her] life."

"When you're loved and supported as a woman, everything changes," Berry told Extra in November 2021. "The day looks brighter, everything looks better. Your opportunity seems limitless."

Before the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Oscars, Hunt opened up about his relationship with Berry in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

The Grammy winner revealed that Berry influenced his new music "in more ways than [he] can even tell you right now." Along with sparking inspiration for his music Hunt shared how Berry has also inspired his parenting. "I'm a completely different person, I can say it like that, and I think that it's improved every aspect of my life."

Hunt has a son, Drake, from a previous relationship. Berry shares daughter Nahla Ariela, 15, with her ex Gabriel Aubry, and her son, Maceo-Robert, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

In November 2021, Berry revealed that her son had performed an impromptu "commitment ceremony" to confirm her relationship.

"This was a ceremony by an 8-year-old in the back seat of the car who said, 'Mom, you should get married to him.' I said, 'Really, I should marry him?' " Berry explained. "He said, 'Yeah, I pronounce you man and wife.' So we're like, 'Oh, okay. We're married!' But we're not married. So, that's our commitment ceremony."
