Just three days after releasing his new single, “Slime You Out,” Drake found himself under scrutiny for the song's suggestive cover art. The Canadian rapper collaborated with SZA on the track and used a picture of Halle Berry covered in slime at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards to promote the project. According to Berry, she specifically asked him not to use the image.

Over the weekend, Berry addressed the situation on Instagram with a pink and white photo, which you can view below. The image said, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy…even if you’re a woman.” In the comments section, Berry explained why she was upset. Apparently, she made it clear that she wasn’t comfortable with the picture's usage, but her request was ignored. “[Drake] did have his people call my people and I said NO,” she wrote. “I didn’t like that image of slime all over my face in association with the song. And he chose to do it anyway! You see…that is the disrespect.”

“Slime You Out” is told from Drake and SZA’s perspectives—both of whom haven’t had the best luck in love. In his verse, Drake refers to women as childish, saying he should start “sliming you out for the choices you make.” In SZA’s verse, she describes men as untrustworthy—and claims she has too much pride to let them “slime her out.”

Drake has yet to comment on Berry's concerns, or apologize for using the image. But at this point, it might be too late. The actress concluded her post with a pointed question. “Why ask if you intended to do what you want to do?” she wrote. "That was the f—you to me. Not cool. You get it?"
