Halle Berry Attends First Public Event Since Divorce Filing, Twitter Drama With Ex-Husbands

Halle Berry has never been one to let personal drama bring her down… and last night was no different.
The actress — whose pending divorce from her third husband, Olivier Martinez, has exes one (baseballer David Justice) and two (musician Eric Benét) weighing in — attended Spectre: The Black Women of Bond Tribute at the California African American Museum in L.A. on Tuesday. Halle, who played Jinx Johnson in 2002′s Die Another Day, looked beautiful in a cornflower blue halter gown by Halston.

It was hard to focus on the dress though because our eyes were immediately drawn to her hand. More specifically, her ring finger. The Oscar winner had been wearing a gold band in recent months (a replacement for her original wedding band, which she lost in Mexico in 2014), but she had on a silver studded ring instead.
Berry was all smiles as she posed sandwiched between fellow Bond babes Trina Parks, Naomie Harris, and Gloria Hendry, but we can only imagine that her mind was elsewhere. Earlier in the day, she was the subject of major Twitter drama with her first husband, former Atlanta Braves star Justice, who used the social media site to address rumors about their relationship. He cleared up one in particular that had long circulated: that he had caused Berry’s hearing loss by assaulting her. Not only did he deny doing that, he pointed the blame in another direction — at fellow Berry ex Wesley Snipes — in a series of now-deleted tweets.

Justice name-checked several of Berry’s other exes in one post, writing, “Yup.. Me, Eric, Gabriel [Aubry], and Olivier were all her ‘Knight in Shining Armor’, until it ends.. Then we all become the worst guys in history."

That inspired Benét, who cheated on Berry and attended a sex-addict rehab program in an attempt to fix their marriage, to weigh in as well:
Reps for Snipes have yet to return Yahoo Celebrity’s request for comment.
Berry and Martinez are in a custody battle over their only son, Maceo, 2. According to reports, they fought nonstop leading up to their divorce announcement on Oct. 27.

“Two very hot-headed people,” was how an insider described them to Us Weekly. “Lots of screaming and fighting. It was really bad. They both have major tempers and were locking heads constantly. It’s going to be a very bitter divorce."
Whelp, it’s nothing she’s not ready for. Bitter divorces — and exes! — seem to be Berry’s specialty.
