  • Halle Berry, 55, and her washboard abs star in the upcoming Netflix movie, Bruised.

  • In the trailer, Halle looks super fit while showing off her killer boxing moves.

  • Mixed martial arts and a keto diet are Halle's keys to fitness success.

Halle Berry is kicking butt and taking names in her new movie, Bruised. The actress, 55, looks ah-mazingly fit in the movie's trailer—and her boxing moves are totally badass.

Halle looks right at home in the octagon, sculpted abs and all. She plays Jackie Justice, an underdog mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who's ready to jump back into the scene, according to the trailer's description. Oh, and FYI: Halle directed Bruised, too. Talk about multitalented!

The trailer looks intense, and Halle's core couldn't look more toned. Your first sneak peek at the film is right here:

In addition to studying up for her directorial debut, Halle's been prepping for her role as Jackie for basically forever. Boxing was always part of her workout routine, and she's been honing her skills with the help of trainer Peter Lee Thomas for the last five years.

In 2018, Halle explained why she's so into the sport: "You’ll sculpt every muscle and burn major calories and fat. It dramatically decreases stress levels, develops hand-eye coordination, and builds confidence and discipline. But most importantly...you’ll never stop learning," she said, per Women's Health.

She's also been experimenting with all kinds of MMA workouts. "Over the years, I've done my fair share of crunches and situps, but one of the biggest game-changers for my abs over the years has been martial arts," Halle wrote in an essay for WH.

"Depending on the week, between 30 to 50 percent of my workouts focus on mixed martial arts (MMA) like jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, and capoeira. When you're practicing MMA, you're using your core the whole damn time. You're constantly bracing, twisting, and ducking. It's a recipe for really strong abs," she added.

While preparing for Bruised, Halle upped the ante even more. She started with four hours of MMA training every day, then added an hour of strength training (including 15 minutes of ab work). "What really made a difference, too, was that instead of doing bodyweight abs exercises, we added weight to everything. As a result, my abs muscles really started popping," she wrote.

"During my daily 15 minutes of core work, I did sit-ups holding a medicine ball or dumbbell, leg raises wearing ankle weights, and hollow holds with dumbbells or wrist weights and ankle weights," Halle continued. Tbh, I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

As for her diet, Halle's type 1 diabetes diagnosis at 22 changed the way she thought about food. "There are certain foods I just won't touch anymore," she wrote—including sugar, white carbs, and traditional wines. "These simple swaps make it easy for me to enjoy a meal with my kids and still nourish my body in the way that works for me," Halle said.

Honestly, if it keeps her looking like this:

Then I'm all here for it. Bruised hits Netflix on Nov. 24.
