Halle Bailey Shares Mermaid-Inspired Underwater Maternity Shoot

Halle Bailey privately experienced her first pregnancy with DDG away from the public eye, although many had speculations for months. After protecting her peace, The Little Mermaid star has finally shared maternity footage with her fans.
A week after announcing that she indeed gave birth to a baby boy named Halo, Halle posted an IG reel showing her ethereal maternity shoot, reminiscent of her leading Disney movie role.
“Missing my belly already but i obviously had to do underwater pics,” she captioned a video of her wearing a metallic two-piece ensemble, as she effortlessly posed under water.
The 23-year-old followed up her IG reveal with dreamy shots from the shoot, photographed by Brandon Almengo.
In another post, Halle shared a previously recorded TikTok with her sister Chlöe, where the two do a dance routine to Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy” including her baby bump.
In the clip, the singing-duo appears to be in a hotel room as they hit the viral choreography to the OVO boss’ hit song featuring pregnant rapper, Sexyy Red. Halle rocks sweats and sports bra, as Chlöe wears a black velour track suit.

The “Angel” crooner and “Moonwalking In Calabasas” rhymer announced the newest addition to their family on Jan. 7 via Instagram. The new parents posted a photo of their three hands with the baby donning a gold bracelet etched with “Halo.”
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Halle wrote. “Welcome to the world my Halo. The world is desperate to know you.”
DDG, né Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., also posted the same image captioned with, “my biggest blessing by far son son.. never been so in love baby halo.”
Additionally, the 26-year-old dropped a freestyle where he mentioned Halo, as well as Bailey’s “Wonder Woman” mothering.
He raps, “Silver spoon kid, I know Halo won’t want for nothing/ He crying, his mama coming/ She’s stronger than Wonder Woman.”
