Halle Bailey is, yet again, ignoring those pregnancy rumors and reminding followers that she favors a young Janet Jackson, as she and boyfriend DDG used Poetic Justice as inspiration for their 2023 Halloween costumes.

Bailey shared images on Sunday (Oct. 29) of her and the popular streamer recreating one of the film’s promotional shoots, 30 years after its release. She nailed down her look as Justice, complete with a black beret, black t-shirt, and fitted jeans while DDG channeled Pac’s character, Lucky, with an Atlanta Braves jersey and backwards fitted hat. They both mimicked the actors’ expressions in the promo shots perfectly.

In the caption, the Little Mermaid star used lyrics from Kendrick Lamar’s hit single, “Poetic Justice.”

In a separate post on TikTok, Bailey and DDG reenacted a scene from the 1993 classic when Justice first meets Lucky at her job and she asks what he really wants from her.

“You wanna smell my punani?,” Justice inquires and excitedly, Lucky replies, “Yeah.” She and her boss, Jessie (Tyra Ferrell), decide to taunt the smitten postal worker and after having enough of their games, he leaves angrily.

A fan on Twitter noted that this is Bailey’s third time using Jackson as the foundation for a Halloween costume. She already did her due diligence as Justice during her single days and later, the now-23-year-old recreated Jackson’s 2008 Discipline album cover. All of this continues to fan the flames that she should eventually star in a Janet Jackson biopic.

Other comments are geared toward rumors that she and DDG are expecting their first child together and the baby bump that doesn’t appear in their Halloween shoot. One tweeted, “This photoshopping is getting outta hand. Where’s the baby?” while another wrote, “okay i know we need to mind our business but now you’re just f**king with us.”
