Even though it's only been a week since Hailey Bieber announced that she was expecting her first child, she's been giving fans plenty of bumpdates—including a new Instagram post that had a nod to a '90s diva. Today, she shared a carousel of posts that included cameos from her Rhode skincare line as well as a butterfly-shaped top that'll look familiar to anyone who keeps up with Mariah Carey, who has made the motif her go-to since the '90s and '00s. Bieber's take on the top was baby pink and she paired it with low-slung baggy jeans and her signature clean girl beauty look.

"The past few weeks have been," she captioned the post before adding a string of emoji. "🐣✨🤍🌴😴💤🌸🌸🌅🥹🥹🥹🥹"

Mariah Carey famously wore an Ungaro butterfly top that was covered in sequins to an event for VH1 Divas 2000: A Tribute To Diana Ross at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The look, which paired the top with low-rise jeans with the waistband cut off and the superstar singer's signature stilettos, would go on to become one of her most iconic and memorable looks. In addition to Bieber, singers SaweetieOlivia Rodrigo, and Dua Lipa have also worn butterfly-shaped tops in the past. Actress Salma Hayek also wore the candy-colored Ungaro creation that Carey made famous.

Bieber announced her pregnancy last week with a post that also served as a peek into her vow renewal with her husband, Justin Bieber. The two tied the knot in September 2018 with a lavish ceremony in South Carolina. A source close to the couple explained that they waited to have a child so that they “could enjoy their alone time together as a couple.”

“Hailey has always known she wanted to be a mother, so this is a dream come true,” a source told Us Weekly after the couple's announcement. “Although she always knew she wanted to have a baby, she didn’t want to rush things after getting married.”
