Hailey Bieber Wears Heavy Shades Following Laser Eye Surgery

The Rhode founder was enjoying some snacks after she underwent the corrective eye surgery

Hailey Bieber has made a name for herself for her it-girl style — but her post-op look might just take the cake as her most eye-catching look yet.

Hailey, 27, underwent Lasik eye surgery this week and shared two hilarious videos taken by her husband, Justin Bieber, of her enjoying a snack following the operation.

On TikTok, she posted a clip of her sitting at a kitchen counter as she donned a crewneck, backwards hat and pair of heavy shades to protect her eyes following the surgery.

“My post LASIK snack 😂,” Hailey wrote over the video, in which she was seen happily chowing down on a snack that she later revealed was ice cream with peanut butter cups mixed in.

In the video, Justin, 29, started to chuckle as he watched his wife eat. She then looked up, seemingly confused as to where the noise had come from before joining in the laughter herself.

In the clip, she showed herself eating the sweet treat again, this time sans shades and looking well recovered from her operation.

Hailey also shared the clip of her enjoying her post-op snack and then laughing with Justin on her Instagram Stories. “Got LASIK finally. 20/15 heaux,” she wrote, referring to her improved vision from the procedure.

Hailey’s BFF, Kylie Jenner, similarly underwent Lasik eye surgery a few years ago, and she sported the same pair of heavy duty shades in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

After her operation in 2020, Jenner, now 26, relied on her mom, Kris Jenner, to take care of her, and the momager gave Kylie a “little bell” to ring whenever she needs something as a way of taking stress off her plate.

“She’s a bit out of it, so I just want to make sure she’s okay, because the healthiest thing she can do right now is to get some rest,” Kris said in the episode.

Kylie didn’t waste any time putting the bell to use, making back-to-back requests of her mom while she laid in bed, resting.

“I just want some water in a glass with no ice and some lemon,” Kylie requested at one point. Before Kris could get the water and bring it back, the makeup mogul rang the bell again, adding another request: “I really want some tacos.”

Kris followed through with her youngest daughter’s requests, and then fed the tacos she’d made to Kylie, who couldn’t see due to the protective lenses.

Kylie and Hailey’s close friend, Stassie Karanikolaou, also underwent the corrective eye surgery at the same time as the Kardashians star, and the two documented the experience on Karanikolaou’s YouTube channel.

At one point, Kylie joked, “My sight has been born. It’s my f------- birthday.”
