Hailey Bieber Looks So Similar to Princess Diana in Vogue Shoot

This weekend marks the 22nd anniversary of Princess Diana’s passing, and everyone is getting on the tribute train. Hailey Bieber, formerly Hailey Baldwin, paid tribute to Princess Diana in new photos for Vogue, and the images are certainly unique. Hailey, the wife of singer Justin Bieber and daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, is part of Vogue Paris’ September issue recreating several looks worn by the “People’s Princess.”

Diana was well-known for mixing the casual with the couture, blending bike shorts and cowboy boots with polo shirts and elegant jewelry. The photos of Hailey aren’t near recreations but instead seek to conjure up familiarity, if not outright similarity. A photo of Diana in an oversized sweater and Lycra bike shorts is put next to Bieber in a slightly mussed ponytail walking down some steps in similar pants and a large sweatshirt that says “parajumper.”

Hailey took to Instagram to praise Vogue Paris for including her in the tribute. “New story for @vogueparis shot by @gstyles styled by @virginiebenarroch,” she writes. “All credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember. Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy.”

Of course the sweetest tributes are coming from Diana’s own children. It was recently reported that Prince William regularly tells his son and daughter, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, that their grandmother is watching over them. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also did a tribute on their own Instagram, sharing some of Diana’s own inspirational words with their followers.

No doubt Aug. 31 will be an emotional day for everyone, but it’s amazing to see such love still blossoming for Princess Diana.
