Hailee Steinfeld Wears Niall Horan T-Shirt

Rumors have been circulating over the past few months that Hailee Steinfeld and Niall Horan are possibly dating. Now, thanks to a shirt that Hailee was seen sporting, those rumors have basically been reignited.

Hailee posted a photo to Twitter of herself in a black T-shirt with a photo of Niall and the words "Niall Horan" in white, which she paired with jeans ripped at the knees and black boots. Along with the photo, she tweeted the coordinates "51.4613° N, 0.1156° W," which, according to Google, leads to a busy road outside of London. Hmm.

Nevertheless, fans seemed more concerned with the photo than the cryptic caption. Some people left replies like "we love a supportive (girl)friend!" and "tour with Niall, collab with Niall, date Niall." Still, others took it as evidence of a platonic relationship, writing things like "the best friendship in the world" and "collab with Niall pls."

The dating rumors began spreading earlier this year after Niall posted a birthday message for Hailee on Instagram, provoking fan comments like "my ship!" The two were also spotted together at a Backstreet Boys concert in February, E! News reports.

However, Hailee told Us Weekly that she was not comfortable disclosing any details of her love life. "I feel so lucky that [my fans] care enough about me to know what I’m doing every second of every day, but I think that sometimes it’s hard for people in general to realize that there are boundaries to a person’s life and personal life," she said. For his part, Niall has not publicly responded to the rumors. Given this, it's important to respect celebrities' privacy and remember they're as deserving of it as anyone else. And, with regard to the latest piece of "evidence," sometimes a shirt is simply a shirt.
