Hailee Steinfeld Dishes On How She Had a Part in Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' Relationship
Hailee Steinfeld can add matchmaker to her list of job titles!
The Pitch Perfect 3 star stopped by Nova 96.9 on Wednesday, where she chatted with New York radio host Smallzy about how she had a small part in Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' relationship.
Steinfeld worked with Jonas and his group, DNCE, when they collaborated on their 2015 song "Rock Bottom," and she also considers the red-haired Game of Thrones star a close friend.
"I mean, I will say, I did get that text from Sophie being like, 'So, tell me about Joe,' and I was like, 'Go for it,'" Steinfeld expressed.
Turner and Jonas announced their engagement on Instagram in October after dating for almost a year.

"I actually just saw them both for the first time since they got engaged," the 21-year-old singer added. "And yeah, I'm, like, freaking out about it!"
Turner and Jonas have since adopted an adorable puppy together named Porky Basquiat. Yet, the twosome still maintain a relatively private relationship.
