‘Hacks’ Season 3 Sets Guest Star Lineup That Includes Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Helen Hunt

“Hacks” Season 3 has added six to its cast in guest star roles, Variety has learned.

Helen Hunt (“Mad About You,” “As Good as It Gets”), Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men,” “Good Girls”), Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”), Dan Bucatinsky (“Scandal,” “Air”), George Wallace (“Clean Slate,” “The Ladykillers”), and Tony Goldwyn (“Scandal,” “Oppenheimer”) are all set to appear in the upcoming season of the Max comedy series.

The official logline for Season 3 of “Hacks” states, “A year after parting, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles.”

Hunt is repped by UTA and Dennis Ardi. Hendricks is repped by UTA, LINK Entertainment, and Hirsch Wallerstein. Lloyd is repped by Gersh and Lisa Lloyd. Bucatinsky is repped by Principal Entertainment LA and Myman Greenspan. Wallace is repped by Christopher Pratt and Sloane Offer. Goldwyn is repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment, and Schreck Rose.

The cast for the new season also includes Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo. It was previously reported that both Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs have been promoted to series regular status for Season 3. There is no premiere date for the new season at the time of this publishing, though it is slated to debut in spring 2024.

Downs, Aniello, and Statsky serve as co-creators, co-showrunner, and executive producers. Downs and Aniello executive produce via their company Paulilu, which is currently under an overall deal at Warner Bros. Television. Statsky executive produces under her First Thought Productions. Michael Schur of Fremulon also executive produces along with David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment and Morgan Sackett. Universal Television produces.
