‘Hacking Robot’ Producer Aliyah Silverstein Inks Overall Deal With Wilshire Studios

Emmy-nominated producer and showrunner Aliyah Silverstein (Hacking Robot) is expanding her relationship with Wilshire Studios, the unscripted sister studio of Universal Cable Productions, signing an overall deal to create, develop and produce original unscripted projects.

Silverstein most recently executive produced the live Mr. Robot after-show Hacking Robot for Wilshire Studios on USA Network.

“Aliyah is an amazing talent with high-level experience in almost all aspects of non-scripted television,” said Dawn Olmstead, Executive Vice President, Development, Wilshire Studios. “We look forward to a successful creative partnership as we boost our slate of original unscripted programming.”

An accomplished writer, producer and director, Silverstein has run four seasons of Bravo’s comedic docuseries, The People’s Couch. She served as showrunner for NBC’s Hollywood Game Night, Sundance TV’s Emmy nominated The Writers’ Room, Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America and TLC’s Trading Spaces. Her previous projects include VH1’s Behind the Music, ABC’s Wife Swap and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen. Silverstein is repped by ICM Partners.
