Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is enjoying the taste of "freedom."

The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard subject — who is now catching up on some of what she missed while serving eight years of a 10-year prison sentence — shared a new clip on Thursday, May 8, of herself digging into some In-N-Out Burger for the first time.

"Trying new things has been one of the best parts of freedom," Blanchard, 32, captioned the video, which featured her taking a bite out of her meal from the chain restaurant.

As Blanchard explained in the clip, she ordered a Double Double — which the person filming clarified was "animal"-style. "That's hot," Blanchard quipped back.

After taking a big bite of the burger, she prefaced her rating by sharing what she'd rate a McDonald's Big Mac (a three out of — presumably — 10). She appeared to be much fonder of the In-N-Out meal.

"I would rate this probably a seven," Blanchard said. "And the fries, still not gonna lie, McDonald's is still my favorite fries. [In-N-Out's] are a little skinny. And as you can see, I'm nothing but skinny."

Blanchard, who is set to star in Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up on Lifetime, clarified in the comment section of the post that she's a "thick cut fry kinda gal 😜." She also got some love from Paris Hilton, who seconded one particular statement she made in the clip: "That’s hot 😉."

Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023 following her time served for conspiring to murder her mother, 48-year-old Dee Dee Blanchard, with her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn. Godejohn carried out the murder before being convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

The Munchausen by proxy victim initially found herself actively using social media post-release, before deciding to take "a step back" from the internet.

As she told PEOPLE's Janine Rubenstein at the An Evening with Lifetime: Conversations on Controversies FYC event panel earlier this month, she's now going about the internet differently than she did initially. "But I just recently got back into it with having learned don't read comments," Blanchard said. "So I mean, I'm just trying to live my life in the best way that I can."

"And like I said, that's going to include missteps, but I learned from them," she added.

After deciding to delete all social media platforms on March 14, Blanchard returned to TikTok earlier this month to show off her blonde hair transformation, as well as her recent rhinoplasty.

"I definitely have a good support system," she said of where she's at now with social media. "And I think I'm just now starting to get around to listening to my inner self instead of all the noise that's been on social media. So with that being said, thank you so much for watching and hearing me out."
