Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is proudly sharing her recovery journey after undergoing a rhinoplasty in April.

On Wednesday, May 15, the famed Munchausen by proxy victim, 32, posted a GRWM (Get Ready with Me) video on TikTok in which she discussed her nose job with her supporters while doing her makeup.

In the clip, Blanchard sat in a bathroom while applying foundation to her face using a blending sponge.

“I gotta be careful around my nose because, um, as everybody knows, I had a nose job,” she said, laughing at her homophones.

She continued, “So, I have to be careful because my nose is still healing.”

Blanchard shared that she did her due diligence before making the big decision by doing a lot of “research on TikTok.” According to the Louisiana native, she was “surprised to learn that it takes a full year” to see the final results.

While doing her deep-dive, she discovered that a person’s nose job can “look great for one month but then the next month it can look like you’ve been beat in the face.”

Taking a break from her blending, Blanchard inserted a “before” photo of her nose pre-surgery. She said her prior “predominant” bump was due to “genetics” that came from her father’s side of the family.

“[I] didn’t feel like it was a feminine nose. God knows I got teased about it,” Blanchard said of her “insecurity.”

She also showed an “after” photo and explained that wearing post-op bandages resulted in “internal packing,” which “made it very difficult to breathe.”

Next, she opened up on more non-glamourous post-op moments.

“One of the things I’m dealing with is like, the internal stitches that still kind of itch, and let me just tell ya — this is gross, this is TMI — the boogers are insane!” Blanchard said. “These are huge!”

In a follow-up TikTok video titled “GRWM part 2,” she admitted that she has no immediate plans for any more plastic surgery.

“So I’ve been asked this before, if I wanted to get more plastic surgery done, and I honestly don’t,” Blanchard said. “I am very happy with everything else that’s on my body — I’m happy with my figure. I have a very womanly figure. I have curves, I have boobs. I’m very proud of those.”

Before undergoing the procedure, Blanchard shared her plans with PEOPLE.

"I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently and that includes a physical one, too," she said in an exclusive statement in April. "Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up."
