Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is 'Ms. Pacific Ocean': Emotional Video Documents Her First Time At The Beach

32-year-old Gypsy Rose Blanchard has stepped foot on the beach for the first time, leaving her fans in tears.

The Louisiana native spent the last eight and a half years behind bars for the involvement in her mother's murder. She was 23 years old at the time. Before prison, she spent her life practically locked up by her mom, who convinced medical professionals, among many others, that Gypsy suffered from several illnesses and disabilities.

She did not have much freedom when she was younger, considering her mom had convinced her she needed a wheelchair, a feeding tube, and constant care. She also was not allowed to leave the house without her mother.

Now that she is out of prison on parole, she is trying to adapt to "normal" life and experiencing things for the first time.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Visits The West Coast For The First Time

The 32-year-old flew to the West Coast for the 'An Evening with Lifetime: Conversations On Controversies' FYC event panel, but since she was already in Hollywood, she decided to extend her stay and visit some of the must-dos, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame and walking into a Sephora for the first time.

She also received a full-on makeover from Alexis Oakley, and now, she can add "stepping foot onto a beach for the first time" to her milestone list.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Walks On The Beach For The First Time

While in California, Lifetime took Gypsy Rose Blanchard to the beach for her first time, which she clearly enjoyed.

She had a mini interview with the network while holding a giant cup of fruit and wore a hot pink body-con dress, which many said made her look like Barbie.

"This feels so weird," she said as she stepped foot on the sand for the first time. "It feels so different. Like, I don't even know how to describe it right now. Like it's heavy, and it seeps into your toes. You're trying to walk, but it's like you're walking in really heavy shoes

"We're going in the water?" she exclaimed as the camera crew walked her over to the Pacific Ocean. As soon as the waves came up and touched her toes, she looked back at the camera and yelled, "I want to go swimming in it!"

She went out a little bit further, about knee-deep, before returning and telling Lifetime, "It was so cold, but it was like a scene out of a movie."

"It was so beautiful," she added.
