Just recently, Gwyneth Paltrow started selling scented candles and had one for sale that is 10.5 ounces and is called, 'This smells like my vagina candle.' This 'Paltrow vagina scented' candle started being sold on her website, The Goop, and at the In Goop Health Summit and quickly sold out at $75 per candle. Now, many of her fans who weren't able to buy the candle, are adding their name to a waitlist on her website.

This scented candle that supposedly smells like her vagina was given this name because when Paltrow sniffed the candle, she said, "Uhhh... this smells like a vagina."

And, although the scent of the candle turned 'into a funny, gorgeous, sexy and beautifully unexpected scent' Paltrow chose to keep the joke she made as the name of the candle. The name came from the joke she made about it while her and perfumer, Douglas Little were creating the scent of this funny named candle.

According to the product listing, "It’s a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth."

According to Paltrow's website, Goop, they first sold the 'vagina scented' candle at the In Goop Health Summit where it sold out within just a few hours.

Not only do many regular people think the name of this candle is silly, celebrities think so too. In fact, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson had a hilarious comment to share with Paltrow about her 'vagina scented candle.'

He commented after Adam Ray, the comedian posted an Instagram post and left a caption that read, "It was only a matter of time until normal scented candles would be out of style," Ray wrote. "Your move Yankee Candle Co. Time to get [Johnson] to sell candles that smell like his balls. Price is Right ONE DOLLAR her, and sell them for $74."

The Rock found this really funny and had this to say, "Brother I tried to make those candles... but I kept burning my balls. So I moved on to shampoo." Then, he added the hashtag #scentofsac to his comment.

Paltrow, as well as the Instagram page titled, 'Comments by Celebs' caught the exchange between Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Adam Ray and Paltrow left a comment herself saying, "This is f------ priceless!" #deceased.

The product description for this 'vagina scented candle' reads:

"With a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent, this candle is made with geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth."

This 'vagina scented candle' created by Paltrow went viral during the same week that Netflix announced that Paltrow's series, 'The Goop Lab' will premiere on January 24.

Paltrow's brand, 'Goop' is not loved by everyone. In fact, her brand has been the center of lawsuits in the past. One lawsuit back in 2018 happened when 'Goop' had to pay out $145,000 to California in civil penalties because the brand made unproven claims that 'eggs' can balance hormones and regulate menstrual cycles.

Paltrow said about the civil penalties they had to pay out, "We didn't understand that you can't make certain claims. We didn't understand about compliance and regulations. We just thought we were writing a blog, you know? And so, it's been an incredible lesson because also we came to understand the power of our influence and that we carry a great responsibility there."

Back in 2018, The Goop was valued at about $250 million. The Goop also hosts health summits and the next one is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on November 16. The cheapest ticket to go to the event costs $1,000!
