And, although the scent of the candle turned 'into a funny, gorgeous, sexy and beautifully unexpected scent' Paltrow chose to keep the joke she made as the name of the candle. The name came from the joke she made about it while her and perfumer, Douglas Little were creating the scent of this funny named candle.

According to the product listing, "It’s a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth."

Not only do many regular people think the name of this candle is silly, celebrities think so too. In fact, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson had a hilarious comment to share with Paltrow about her 'vagina scented candle.'

He commented after Adam Ray, the comedian posted an Instagram post and left a caption that read, "It was only a matter of time until normal scented candles would be out of style," Ray wrote. "Your move Yankee Candle Co. Time to get [Johnson] to sell candles that smell like his balls. Price is Right ONE DOLLAR her, and sell them for $74."

The product description for this 'vagina scented candle' reads:

"With a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent, this candle is made with geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth."

This 'vagina scented candle' created by Paltrow went viral during the same week that Netflix announced that Paltrow's series, 'The Goop Lab' will premiere on January 24.

Paltrow's brand, 'Goop' is not loved by everyone. In fact, her brand has been the center of lawsuits in the past. One lawsuit back in 2018 happened when 'Goop' had to pay out $145,000 to California in civil penalties because the brand made unproven claims that 'eggs' can balance hormones and regulate menstrual cycles.

Paltrow said about the civil penalties they had to pay out, "We didn't understand that you can't make certain claims. We didn't understand about compliance and regulations. We just thought we were writing a blog, you know? And so, it's been an incredible lesson because also we came to understand the power of our influence and that we carry a great responsibility there."

Back in 2018, The Goop was valued at about $250 million. The Goop also hosts health summits and the next one is scheduled to be held in San Francisco on November 16. The cheapest ticket to go to the event costs $1,000!
