Is Gwyneth Paltrow's Daughter Apple Martin 'Giving Brigitte Bardot'? Fans Can't Spot the Difference

Paltrow shared a rare photo of her lookalike daughter in an Instagram carousel of their family vacation in Mexico

Apple Martin is a true mix of her parents Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. These days, however, the rising fashion star is reminding fans of another famous face.

Over the weekend, Paltrow posted an Instagram carousel of her family’s holiday getaway in Mexico, including a gorgeous solo portrait of Apple sitting in a rattan peacock chair with the sun shining on her fact.

The image shows the 19-year-old wearing a strappy black dress as smizes for the camera while posing with one hand holding up her wavy blonde hair.

Social media users pointed out how much the teen, with her timeless beauty, looks like a young Brigitte Bardot, the famed French actress, activist and style icon of the '50s and '60s.

“Apple looks like Brigitte Bardot!” one follower marveled, while another pointed out that Apple is Bardot’s “twin.”

Apple and Bardot’s uncanny similarities even made Katy Perry do a double take. The “Teenage Dream” singer commented on Apple “giving” the same energy as the classic French bombshell.

Paltrow’s photo diary also included a sweet image of her and Apple dressed in beachy dresses and smiling against a sunset backdrop.

On Tuesday, the Goop founder also shared photos of her and the kids’ Christmas in California. Among the pictures was a selfie of her and Apple twinning in holiday accessories.

Over the years, Paltrow, 51, has shared rare glimpses of Apple as well as her son Moses Martin, 17, both of whom she shares the Coldplay frontman, 46, deciding to keep much of their childhood private. But, 2023 marked a year during which Apple decided to step into the spotlight on her own terms.

In January, Apple made her Paris Fashion Week debut at Chanel’s haute couture runway show. While a first-timer at the event, Apple fit right in, clad in a chic black-and-white checkered mini dress with matching cardigan, plus black loafers.

Similar to her mom's signature style, she wore her hair pin straight and parted in the middle. She also accented her eyes with smoky, winged liner (Margot Tenenbaum vibes, anyone?).

As she’s gotten older and explored her personal style, Apple has also used her mom’s glamorous clothing archives to her advantage.

During the summer, Paltrow revealed that Apple does, in fact, dip into her closet. While answering fan-submitted questions, the Iron Man star shared a picture of Apple happily trying on the Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the 2002 Oscars.
