Gwyneth Paltrow Wears Vintage Valentino Gown and Dramatic Cape at 2023 Fashion Awards

Gwyneth Paltrow is a lady in red!

The actress and Goop founder, 51, attended The Fashion Awards 2023 at The Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday, where she was dressed in an all-red vintage Valentino outfit.

Paltrow wore a strapless, empire-waist gown from the designer's autumn/winter 1965 couture collection, according to British Vogue. The dress featured a neckline with a plunging middle section and a thigh-high slit.

The star accessorized with a long, dramatic Valentino cape and a pair of matching stiletto heels. She also wore her blonde hair straight down, styled in a middle part, and finished the look with two wrist bangles and a pair of dangle-down earrings.

Sharing snaps on her Instagram Story, Paltrow took a full-length mirror selfie and a snapshot of her bracelet from Van Cleef & Arpels. She also posted a black-and-white selfie with Valentino co-founder Giancarlo Giammetti, as well as a short clip of Sam Smith’s performance.

“@SamSmith Incredible,” Paltrow's caption read before she went on to post a picture of her standing on the red carpet, which she captioned with an apparent callout to husband Brad Falchuk, who was presumably the photographer: "Brad BTS."

“We’ve stiiiiiiill got it @katemossagency,” Paltrow added as she reposted a Vogue Instagram video of herself and Kate Moss posing on the red carpet at Monday’s event.

After sharing a snap of herself enjoying a glass of red wine while relaxing in a white robe, the Shakespeare in Love star reposted an image of her posing alongside artist Stephanie Simon.

Paltrow also gave a closer look at her pair of shoes in another repost from Simon, which featured the caption, “@gwynethpaltrow takes off her shoes mid-party and that also makes me very happy.”

Paltrow’s fun evening comes after she recently shared a snap with her ex-husband Chris Martin’s longtime girlfriend, Dakota Johnson.

Taking part in an Instagram story Q&A, Paltrow was asked to post a “Photo with Dakota,” leading to the star sharing a picture of the two holding hands outdoors. The actresses appeared to be in great spirits as they were wrapped up warmly, displaying bright smiles.

Meanwhile, this came after Paltrow revealed in October that she and Johnson, 34, were "actually very good friends."

“I love her so much," the Oscar winner added, as she took part in another Instagram Story Q&A. “She’s an adorable, wonderful person."
