Gwyneth Paltrow feels lucky to call Jennifer Aniston her friend.

As Paltrow, 51, answered questions from her followers on Thursday via her Instagram Story, the actress and Goop founder was asked, "Are you and Jennifer Aniston friends?"

"Yes I am so lucky," Paltrow responded, sharing a photo showing her and Aniston, 54, embracing as Aniston kissed her on the cheek.

Aniston was among the celebrity guests at Paltrow's engagement party to her now-husband Brad Falchuk back in 2018.

The pair both had previous relationships with Brad Pitt. Pitt, now 59, and Paltrow dated from 1994 to 1997, and Aniston was married to the actor from 2000 until their divorce in 2005.

Paltrow, who married Falchuk in 2018, touched on a number of topics in her Instagram Story Q&A session, from tips on building a romantic connection with a Pisces like Falchuk, 52, to her best parenting advice.

Paltrow also fielded a question regarding her friendship with Dakota Johnson, who is dating Paltrow's ex-husband Chris Martin.

“We’re actually very good friends," Paltrow said, adding, “I love her so much. She’s an adorable, wonderful person."

Johnson began dating Martin, 46, in 2017 after the Coldplay singer and Paltrow — who "consciously uncoupled" in 2014 — finalized their divorce in 2016.

Paltrow and Martin share two kids, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17, and she is a stepmom to Falchuk's daughter Isabella, 19, and son Brody, 17.

In a previous Instagram Q&A Paltrow did back in August, she admitted that blending her family with Falchuk's at first made for a challenging task.

"You know, there’s no book on this; nobody tells us what to do. And in fact, all of the existing media around what a stepmother is casts us in this evil, villainous light," Paltrow said at the time. "So it’s kind of like trying to avoid land mines. And then you’re going into a family with dynamics. And there’s all kinds of fear around loss and what does this person mean?"

"But for myself, the minute I decided, and fully embodied the idea that my step kids were my kids and I love them just as much and I gave them the same rules and boundaries, and just kind of whole-heartedly went for it, then the easier the whole thing got," she added. "And now it’s pretty great."
