Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Sweet Photo of Her Son Moses Reuniting With Ex-Husband Chris Martin
This year and every year, Gwyneth Paltrow is thankful for her family, including ex-husband Chris Martin.
The actress and Goop founder posted a sweet photo of the Coldplay singer, 39, sharing a big bear hug with their 10-year-old son Moses ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
“Here is to reunions, togetherness, family, and love love love. Happy thanksgiving eve, everyone. Love, gp,” Paltrow captioned the adorable moment on Instagram Wednesday. Missing from the photo was big sister Apple, 12.
The father-son reunion may have been recent as Martin returned stateside after his band performed at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai for their first-ever concert in India. Also at the festival was Paltrow and Martin’s close friend Jay Z.
Paltrow and Martin reached a divorce settlement in May after announcing the end of their 10-year marriage in March 2014, coining the term “conscious uncoupling.”
In June, Paltrow said in an interview in Cannes that her divorce was “difficult” but she was happy they’ve been able to amicably co-parent.
“As anybody who has been divorced knows, you have to put a lot aside to maintain the family and the practicalities of what that might mean and sometimes that’s quite tough on a personal level,” Paltrow explained, adding, “It’s a commitment I make every day to my children and their father even though we’re not in a romantic relationship.”
