Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Details of Her Pre-Christmas Trip to 'Beautiful Gray' London and ‘Nicest Hotel Room’

The actress gave her 8.4 million Instagram followers a glimpse into her "quick" getaway to the British capital

Gwyneth Paltrow is sharing an insight into her latest trip across the pond.

In a series of snaps and clips shared on her Instagram Story Tuesday, the actress, 51, offered her followers a glimpse at what she got up to during her short getaway to London.

“Quick trip to beautiful grey pre-Christmas London,” she captioned the first photo, which showed a cloudy sky and starry holiday decorations hung above a street.

This was followed by a look at the British capital’s Ever After Garden, which is full of illuminated white roses, and a peek at the restaurants she dined at, including the Royal China Club — where she tucked into a “Sunday dim sum lunch — and Indian eatery Gymkhana in Mayfair.

The Goop founder’s husband, Brad Falchuk, also appeared to have joined her on the trip, as in another shot the Glee co-creator, 52, could be seen walking ahead of his wife through the streets of London and carrying a black umbrella.

While in the city, Paltrow also visited an exhibition of artist David Hockney at the National Portrait Gallery and shared a tour of what she called “maybe the nicest hotel room in London.”

In the video, Paltrow walked around a penthouse suite at the luxury Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge and showed off its amenities, including a living room, dining area, bar and terrace with church view.

The star ended the glimpse into her trip with a snap of a rainy plane window the caption, “Cheerio.”

Paltrow was in London to attend The Fashion Awards 2023 at The Royal Albert Hall, which took place on Monday.

The star-studded event was also attended by the likes of Rita Ora, Amal Clooney, pregnant actress Suki Waterhouse and Jude Law’s daughter Iris.

Paltrow dazzled on the red carpet in an all-red vintage Valentino outfit, teaming the strapless gown with a long cape and a pair of matching stiletto heels.

The dress, which was from the designer's autumn/winter 1965 couture collection according to British Vogue, also featured a thigh-high slit and plunging neckline.

She later posted a picture of herself standing on the red carpet during the evening, which she captioned with an apparent callout to her husband, who was presumably the photographer. "Brad BTS," she wrote.
