Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk made the most of their Sunday.

Paltrow, 51, shared a cute selfie on her Instagram Story showing her and Falchuk, 53, posing while enjoying some downtime together over the weekend.

The couple lay down on cushions in the snap, with Paltrow covering her eyes with a pair of sunglasses. "Dimanche," the Goop founder simply captioned the pic, which is the French word for Sunday.

The selfie comes after Paltrow shared a sweet Instagram post on March 1 to celebrate Falchuk's 53rd birthday.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, snuggled up together on a beach in the photo. "Happy birthday @bradfalchuk," Paltrow wrote in the caption. "You are my everything💙"

The pair share a blended family. Paltrow has two children — Apple, 19, and Moses, 17 — with ex-husband Chris Martin, while Falchuk has two kids — Isabella, 19, and Brody, 17 — from his previous marriage to Suzanne Bukinik.

Speaking to PEOPLE in November, Paltrow said life with a blended family was “hard, and it’s not intuitive, and nobody tells you how to do it. You just stick with it."

"Now it’s one of the things that brings me the most happiness in my life,” she continued.

With Apple in her second year of college and Moses in his senior year of high school, Paltrow is preparing to be an empty nester. However, she prefers the term "free birds."

“I’m trying to reframe it so that I can at least try to convince myself there’s some kind of a silver lining," she said. "Empty nest sounds so sad and lonely.”

“I believe that life, especially for women, comes in chapters,” the actress went on. “This is really going to be a new chapter for me.”
