Gwyneth Paltrow’s 17-year-old daughter has shockingly never seen any of her movies

Gwyneth Paltrow was on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” Thursday, and not only did she reveal that her daughter Apple Martin has never watched one of her movies, but also revealed which of her movies she would most like to show her.

“She has not seen me in a movie,” Paltrow revealed. “Probably, I think she would like “The Royal Tenenbaums.” That's what I would show her.”

While Wes Anderson’s “The Royal Tenenbaums” is a magnificent film, it was shocking that Paltrow did not pick “Shakespeare in Love,” for which she earned a best actress Oscar. It was also surprising to learn that a real-life teenager hasn’t seen any of the Marvel mega-hits which Paltrow has been in.

And while she is known for consciously doing things, like uncoupling from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Paltrow claims her kids’ indifference to seeing their mom act occurred organically.

“I think I never, like, did or didn't show them myself in a film but I just sort of didn't and then I think now they think it's kind of weird,” Paltrow said. “They like me kind of in jeans, making them snacks. Like, they think that whole famous part of me is sort of weird.”
