See Gwen Stefani perform new ballad 'Used to Love'

In addition to the B-A-N-A-N-A-S classics Gwen Stefani performed at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday night, the singer debuted a new song for the audience.

Fans snapped video of “Used to Love You,” which Stefani also teased in a clip posted to her Instagram account.

“I’m talking about pain and love and my real life, and I just want to say thank you for listening,” she said on stage, referencing her recent split from Gavin Rossdale. “And I just want to share a song that I wrote recently. This song is really special.”

Earlier in the lineup, the No Doubt frontwoman performed songs like “What You Waiting For?,” “Cool,” “Hollaback,” and “Wind It Up.” Following the show, she tweeted, “Wow New York so good thank u for sharing a special night w me.”

Fans can look forward to new music, as Stefani has been working on a new album with collaborators Pharrell Williams, Ryan Tedder, and Charli XCX. She tweeted Saturday that the concert’s encore song would be her new single.
