Gwen Stefani and others perform during tree lighting at Rockefeller Center
The stars were out for the lighting of the tree on Christmas in Rockefeller Center. Stars such as Gwen Stefani, Pentatonix, and Jennifer Nettles.
The event was hosted by the anchors of the “Today” show, excluding Matt Lauer, who had been terminated earlier that day for alleged sexual misconduct.
Gwen Stefani wowed the audience with a performance of the song “My Gift Is You.” Pentatonix demonstrated how much they love the snow when they sang “Let It Snow.” And Jennifer Nettles brought down the house with her performance.
After all the amazing performances, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and NBC’s Lester Holt lit the Christmas tree up like the Fourth of July, the week after Thanksgiving.
