No Doubt will perform together for the first time since 2015 at this year's Coachella Festival

Gwen Stefani’s No Doubt reunion at Coachella will be a blast from the past for the star.

The "Cool" singer opened up about the group’s upcoming festival set on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night, and revealed that while the group hasn’t yet started rehearsals, she already knows she may have to relearn the words to some older hits.

“I don’t remember them, no, not at all. I don’t! I think I’m going to have to learn probably like, eight or nine [songs]. One of the first songs I ever wrote was called ‘Different People;' we’re doing that,” Stefani, 54, told Kimmel.

At that point, she quickly put hand over her mouth, feigning shock and saying “I’m not supposed—”, as the audience cheered for the 1995 song, which is featured on the band’s third album Tragic Kingdom.

“We might do that one,” Stefani said. “I’ll just have to have them sing it for us!”

No Doubt — which features Stefani on vocals, Tom Dumont on guitar, Tony Kanal on bass and Adrian Young on the drums — last reunited in 2012 for the album Push and Shove, their first in 11 years. They last performed live together in 2015.

“It’s crazy,” Stefani said of their reunion. “It’s gonna be amazing. I’m so excited. And I think what is gonna be hilarious is, I know what’s gonna happen, I’m gonna get onstage and look around and just start like, cracking up because it’s just gonna be like riding a bike. We’re gonna be like, ‘What are we doing? We’re in the future right now, we’re at Coachella.’ It’s gonna be bizarre.”

The “Purple Irises” singer also joked that she’d given festival organizers a call to ask if they had any trellises available for her to climb, as she did during performances back in the day.

“They don’t have any trellises, I already asked about it!” she told the late-night host, 56. “I would do it! I would start doing my squats like, today and get ready for it.”

Stefani, who is married to country star Blake Shelton, opened up to PEOPLE last month about the upcoming Coachella performance, revealing that agreeing to play the festival was an easy “yes.”

“It just happened so fast, and that’s my favorite kind of thing to happen. We haven’t really figured out the next steps of how we’re going to do this, but we’re just all so excited,” she said. “And I think really just watching the internet blow up [with] how excited that the fans are? It’s inspiring us.”

She continued: “It's just going to be cool. It's just going to be: get up there and do what we always do, which is play our music and try to connect and be so grateful that we got this amazing career that we never expected to have.”

Stefani and Shelton, 47, are currently celebrating the release of their new duet “Purple Irises,” which the star told Kimmel she initially wrote just for herself.

After the "Ol' Red" artist heard the demo, though, he praised the tune, and his wife asked him to hop on.

“It ended up I didn’t have to rewrite anything, it just worked,” she said. “It was just a magical… The street that we recorded on was called Iris Street, so I was like, ‘What is happening?’ Now here we are, playing it live.”
