Guy Fieri's 'Triple D' to feature Caribbean restaurant from Greater Cincinnati

Guy Fieri's “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" will highlight another Cincinnati restaurant.

The Mayor of Flavortown visited Springfield Township's Big Jay's Place in April to film an episode that will air this week, according to the restaurant's Instagram page.

Big Jay's Place, which specializes in Caribbean soul food, will be featured on the show's "From Chicken to Caribbean" episode Friday and Saturday, along with eateries in Omaha, Nebraska, and Redmond, Oregon.

An episode synopsis on the Food Network website says: "In Cincinnati, a hidden gem is firing up real deal Caribbean favorites."

The episode will air on the Food Network at 9 p.m. ET Friday, and again on Saturday at midnight.

In the past two months, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" has also featured The Governor diner in Milford, Lucius Q and Kiki College Hill.
